MARK DION
Mark Dion is very unique as an artist. His art usually consists of work that is rational and irrational, which makes people think more. I feel that images can be more interesting if the photographer does it in such a way that make you jog your memory. The garden in one of his photos was not the kind of garden that anyone would generally call a garden. To me, it looked more like a swamp or shrub from Jurassic park. To take a picture of it is not something I would think of doing. I think that the way he took the picture was great though. It shows the depth within the photo, as well as how big the mound in the front is. The angle of choice complimented the garden well. If I wouldn't think of taking a picture of the whole row, but rather a closer shot. His idea and style has opened my eyes more to newer things.
